Summary:  This folder contains version 8.3 of the LaserWriter 8 driver 
and a new version of PrintMonitor.

LaserWriter 8 now provides support for color-matching and for embedded 
JPEG-compressed documents. LaserWriter 8 now supports ColorSync 2.0, 
Apple's latest system software for device-independent color-matching 
services, and PostScript Level 2 color-matching. 

Desktop PrintMonitor provides a desktop printing environment similar to 
that found in QuickDraw GX.  It makes functions previously found through 
the Chooser and PrintMonitor accessible on the desktop.  Additional 
features such as print queue management, simultaneous printing to 
multiple printers, and a drag and drop interface are provided by Desktop 
PrintMonitor.
