Summary: Installer 4.0.3 provides the latest Apple technology for 
installing and upgrading software to both 68K and Power PC based 
Macintosh systems.

Version 4.0.3 is a bug fix release of the Apple multi-disk installer 
which also offers the new InstaCompOne decompression atom extender.  The 
documentation has also been revised to go into greater detail towards 
addressing common questions and issues which were raised with Installer 
v4.0. 

This particular update of the 4.0.3 SDK includes minor corrections to 2 
of the example scripts and includes all available localized releases of 
Installer 4.0.3.   Read the document "Installer 4.0.3 SDK Rev History" 
for a list of changes from the previous release of this SDK.

Requires:  MPW 3.2 and System 6.0.5 required for script development.  
Installer v4.0.3 runs on System 4.2 and greater.

Issues:  The licensing agreement for 4.0 is different than what was in 
place for Installer 3.4.x.  Contact the Apple Software Licensing group 
for the specifics on licensing.
